So for the weekend, my husband and I went home, AGAIN. I don’t normally like going out of town two weekends in a row, but we had to for a family obligation.
I did find time to do one of my favorite things, antique thrifting! While I was there I knew I had to catch some shots of things I found interesting. This past week, someone I work with told me I had an “old soul” and that really struck a chord with me.
I never really thought of it that way, but I really am. I love old things more than new ones, and I have such respect for history, especially couture history. Anyways, I hope you like what you see! I want to show you all not only clothes I think are pretty, but pretty places too.
My favorite thing in the whole, wide world is CHRISTMAS. And nothing is more beautiful than old-fashioned Christmas decorations.
I wore lace for a vintage, Sunday affair.
This antique store is actually an old schoolhouse. The picture below is in the auditorium.
I admire this cutie playing the piano every time I visit, I wonder why their parents took their portrait this way? But it is irresistibly adorable.
This hankerchief hem 😀
I love this large stove top.
One of my fab finds of the day. For $12, this woven and beaded, floral purse!
Here I am by the end of the afternoon! Oh man! Thank goodness we are staying in this weekend. I could really use a lazy weekend.
There is definitely more to come, thank you for reading AND UNTIL NEXT TIME,
stay cute, stay sweet.
