I know I have mentioned before my love of all things sparkly and/or flashy. To be specific, I really love sequins. Once winter arrives, I feel that sequins can officially make their public appearance. Nothing says holiday season like sequins do. That is why for Thanksgiving day, I could think of nothing else to wear than my vintage sequin top.
I scored this authentic 1980’s sequin top on EBAY a few weeks ago. It was love at first sight.
It was super chilly this day and seriously these sequins were like a coat. This top is medium to heavy weight so it provided a lot of warmth.
I took these photos in my grandparent’s backyard. They have orange trees and A LOT of oranges to be picked!
Clothes don’t have to be new to be nice. 🙂 Just like wine, some things in life are better with age.
That is why I love buying vintage, things are not made like they use to be. I appreciate the past more than most people, call me crazy.
This tree is really interesting too, it is a fig tree. It isn’t fig season though.
Things from the past are like fashion gems. They are a piece of history and hold a story. Where was this top worn? Who wore it and what was their life like? I love owning things that have a past maybe more amazing than my present. 🙂
Hope you enjoyed my share on vintage things and this amazing top in particular. Thanks for reading!
until next time,
stay cute, stay sweet.
