How to Style: a Blazer.

photo 1-12

Hey everyone, so I am still not back on my feet yet. I am dreaming of the day of getting dressed, going outside,  and actually living.

I decided since I can’t get dressed, or take cute photos for you guys… why not brainstorm outfit ideas in my apartment? I also figured I should do another edition of How to Style one piece in different ways.

One piece I think no girl can go wrong with is a classic, black blazer. It is versatile, chic, and completes any outfit for a polished and sophisticated look.

Look one is sassy and chic. This look is kind of dressy casual, great for a nice dinner out.

I adore this chambray top with its vintage embroidered stitching and buttons.

I love the layered bracelets and boho feather earrings. You can also never go wrong with a  statement piece ring.

This vintage satchel and pair of ruby booties are two pieces from my closet I can’t live without.

Look two is definitely a casual, day time look. This is a great outfit for shopping, or taking on the town with your girlfriends.

You know I LOVE leopard and a pair of cutoff denims are always a great piece to literally pair with anything.

These accessories complete the look for the perfect boho, easy-breezy styling.

These tall socks paired with these wedged, fringe booties are super fun.

Last but certainly not least, my Michael Kors traveler tote is the perfect go to purse for errand running, or those on the go days when you need to carry a million things in your purse.

Here is another close up of accessories.

Look three is a preppy meets edgy take on styling a blazer. This look is great for looking professional and stylish at the same time.

I love this simple, striped dress. I know you guys have seen it before.

photo 3-119

This look is clean cut and edgy, with a pop of color.

photo 1-132

I love these bright earrings and vintage, dramatic ring. It was my grandmother’s.

photo 3-120

This woven scarf is not just warm, it tops off this outfit like icing on a cake.

photo 2-130

This purse makes such a statement with its boxy frame and sassy studs.

You already know these black riding boots are my baby.

So I hope that in my sickly state, I am still inspiring to you all. I hope this how to style post gave you some new ideas on how to wear a blazer without feeling like you are wearing a suit. LOL That was kind of how I felt the first time I owned one.

Mixing is key when it comes to styling so that you can go a long way with a little. By that I mean, mixing things you already own to make great outfits without having to go shopping every time you want to look cute.

I am officially pooped out, hopefully I can doze off now. LOL

Thanks so much for reading, you are great.

until next time,

stay cute, stay sweet.
