Hi my friends and Happy Mardi Gras for those who celebrate it! Here in Louisiana the weather was AWFUL…32 degrees and raining. Needless to say, I stayed in all day, but it wasn’t like I was planning on parading anyways. I mean I am an old lady! 🙂 Seriously though, I had to pack! We are less than 2 weeks away from closing on our new home and I can’t wait.
I started my day on the right foot, with homemade French toast and French roast coffee. It was so great spending the day catching up on chores around the apartment. The reason I am popping in though, is to share some photos taken Sunday back at my parents’ home.
Meet the latest addition to the family! What a cutie.
I borrowed this gorgeous dress from my sister to attend a bridal shower Sunday. I got so many compliments on it and I told her I will take it off her hands once she doesn’t want it anymore. ;D
I love being at home and out in the open air.
This dress is really unique in the spacing of the sequins, they form a tribal like design and the colors are so perfect.
I paired it with my fringe booties and a three quarter sleeve cardigan.
Don’t forget the headband of course.
So, I really hope you appreciate the work I put into sharing my life with you guys! Let me tell you the story behind this picture…
I sat on the ground and in a matter of seconds, my hand was burning. I look down to see why and am shocked to find over a dozen ants on my hand, BITING ME! My sister caught this photo because she was laughing so hard she could barely breathe. I really did not find it so funny, considering my hand swelled up in under a minute.
I hope you liked this outfit of mine and had a great day yourself! Thanks for reading and have a great rest of the week.
until next time,
stay cute, stay sweet.
