Hey everyone! Happy Wednesday. I am already looking forward to this weekend, more than you can imagine. I have much needed family plans in store. So, as you know I have been whining for a while now about summer being hot and that I am ready for fall. I figured sooner rather than later was it time to start scoping out the trends forecasted for fall. Since I tell you guys everything anyway, I might as well share with you what I find! So here are a few of my favorite trends of fall 2014, hope you like them too.
60’s Look, I LOVE retro trends. Turtlenecks, bold colors, boxy shapes.
Brights! This trend is always really in when spring rolls around, but seeing it in the winter is totally refreshing. Some speculate that the polar vortex of a winter we had last year has designers feeling like happy colors are necessary this year. I couldn’t agree more.
This is something I have never seen before, which is totally exciting since I feel like trends just repeat themselves over time. This trend is called “Normcore”. It’s the idea of standing out by blending in. Monotone and simple, but this look is really chic.
Shearling – this trend is one that is tried and true. Not going to deny this hasn’t been in style now for a few years, but look at it? It screams autumn, its cozy, and really edgy. I love a little fluff. 🙂
Have a great end of the week honey! Thanks for reading, hope I inspired you to get pumped for fall!
until next time,
stay cute, stay sweet.
