Hello my friends! I hope you a wonderful Christmas and weekend. I know I did. Now that Christmas is over, we have another year approaching us. Today I want to look back on my top 10 favorite outfits of 2014. I know people say you should never look back and always look forward, but I think looking back is important sometimes. It allows you to grow, appreciate what you have, and learn from the past. History is fascinating to me, but maybe I am just a big nerd. (Probably). Last year, I was hit with mono the day AFTER Christmas and spent the next 3 weeks miserably in bed! There is no way my 2015 can ring in worse than this year did. Anyways, here is to a new year, a fresh start, an opportunity for new adventures, experiences, and memories. Now for 10 outfits of 2014.
1. IT girl
I love sending a message, literally. Fashion is all about personal expression and having fun, so go for it.
See the original post here.
2. Beach Babe
For Valentine’s Day weekend, we escaped to Florida with a couple of friends. It was so refreshing.
Original post, here.
3. Spring has Sprung.
March was an extremely exciting and frightening month for us as we made the purchase of our very first home! I adore this easy outfit of mine, perfect for the changing weather as we welcomed spring.
Home sweet home.
4. Maxi Dress Dream
How can I go wrong with this stunning and statement making maxi dress? It is the perfect summer maxi that doesn’t require a lot of accessorizing, or styling on my part. It really stands alone.
5. Printed Kimono
How could I forget about going red this past summer! I totally loved that look and I miss it now, but it was SO high maintenance. UGH. I really like this outfit though.
6. Hat and Stripes
There is something very Parisian about this look, can’t quite put my finger on it, but it’s fun right?
7. Printed Pants, Please
You can never go wrong with a pair of fun pants.
8. Let It Go
This will forever stand as one of my favorite looks of all time, even though it was simply a Halloween costume. Frozen was such a huge trend this year and the movie is definitely my most favorite Disney movie in a long time.
9. Aztec Western Vibe
Layering is my all time favorite form of styling. Not only is it super comfortable, it looks so effortlessly chic.
10. Chunky Sweater
Another big change for me, I chopped my hair off this winter for the first time since I was a little girl. I love change and it’s definitely a fun mix up. As for this outfit its simple pieces paired together for a very clean look.
This year had many ups and downs, but I am ready for the next one. I hope you are too because ready or not, here it comes! Have a great day and thanks for reading.
until next time,
stay cute, stay sweet.
