So hello! I am forever late in posting you guys. But, I hope you can forgive me. Tonight I want to take a moment and reflect on the year. It was full of many low moments, but good ones as well. The year was foreshadowed off and on with good and bad news alike with my dad’s cancer. I also started my own business, got a dog, and started a new day job. The hubs has even started a new job as well. As much I say I like change, it is still hard to accept. Sometimes when we think things are headed for the worse, they are actually changing for the better.
Being vulnerable and scared can open your eyes to new possibilities, as uncomfortable as that may be. I am grateful this year for both the GOOD and BAD things that have happened because they make me who I am. I thank you all for praying for my dad. He finished four rounds of chemo and will be having surgery on one lung December 9. Then in 8 weeks, the second lung. The doctor will be removing the cancer spots. Then 4-6 more rounds of chemo.
Life is cray cray and continues to get more so everyday. I pray for this world and those who have lost loved ones to violence, like sweet Paris. We must always live life to fullest and everyday as our last. Cliche yes, but I mean it! I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving week. Never lose hope, never give up, and NEVER take your life for granted. You are doing better than you think, you are stronger than you think, and you are wiser than you know. 😀
OH and if you didn’t notice I am ready for Christmas. This is truly the MOST wonderful time of the year. On a side note, check out the shop. New arrivals are now on sale as part of our pre-black Friday eve sale. As always thanks for reading, I love you for it.
until next time,
stay cute, stay sweet.
